I cross-stitched this little apple and watermelon last Summer (here in the southern hemisphere it's from December to February), and mounted them on little wooden embroidery hoops.
They looked so cute, I scanned them to see how they'd turn out, and I think the reason they came out so clear is that they're held so tightly by the hoops.

I do know about Atomic Cupcake's action - I spend time each week drooling all over my keyboard, because I can't stay away from her shop :D
I have to restrain myself though, because Kathy & I are saving up to buy her 20 credit bundle (it's $70) and we're halfway there.
