Beads Alpha

After I made those little bead letters for the Summer Solstice blog train, I kept on fiddling and made a whole bead alphabet.

The colours I used aren't the same as those of the blog train, but use the palette I'm using for a new freebie mini kit that you should be seeing here sometime before the end of July.

This is the palette I'm working with:

And here's the free beads alphabet:

Update:
I'm so sorry about the mixup!
I've now added the A and the blank bead to the zip file.
And here's those images by themselves, so you don't have to download the whole lot again...
Hugs,
Kathy :)

Garden Party mini kit ~ part 1

Well, the Garden Party blog train will be leaving the station in a week's time, and we've made so much again that we've decided to separate the kit into a number of parts.

(not sure if it's going to be in 2 or 3 parts at the moment)

This first part contains 27 felt & puffy felt elements:
8 tulips, 6 stems, 2 four leaf clovers, 2 bushes (in small and large, which means there's actually 4), and a sun in three different sizes.

Why are there large and small sizes in some files?
Because with the puffy felt effect, size matters. Smaller images end up more "puffy" looking, but obviously won't scale to larger sizes too well.
So we thought we'd give you more options.

Please let us know what you think!
We love comments & feedback :)

Watercolour Flowers

Some whimsical, multicoloured daisies that I painted with my watercolours the other day, then  scanned and extracted them and they turned out pretty good.

I didn't include pngs with shadows because they look best flat on a background, as if you've just painted them onto your paper yourself - you might even try setting their transparency to 80% for more effect.

Hope they're bright and cheerful enough for you!

Pastel Buttons

We used some of the same papers in last week's pink torn flowers to make these lovely pastel buttons.

Cross Stitch Fruits

I cross-stitched this little apple and watermelon last Summer (here in the southern hemisphere it's from December to February), and mounted them on little wooden embroidery hoops.

They looked so cute, I scanned them to see how they'd turn out, and I think the reason they came out so clear is that they're held so tightly by the hoops.

Anyway, enjoy!
